This post will be about yesterday and not about today, because it's only 4pm in the day and hey, the day is still young! So here goes. This will be a slightly long post though, so read on if you care.

Newton's Third Law
For every action there is an, equal and opposite reaction.

there was sir isaac newton beneath an apple tree
an apple hit him in the head and he called it gravity
who would have known that his name would ever get so big
we named a cookie after him and filled it up with fig

theorizing gravitation by a simple observation
formulating physics laws with the due consideration
your third law still applies to almost every situation
never to be proved wrong, not by any calculation

As engineers, there'll be one thing that's totally inevitable and that's Issac Newton. I know i've blogged about him before and yeah, i've ranted and ranted. But as i further into this field i begin to realise that Newton's everywhere. In equations, laws, books, everything.

And for once, fellow engineers agree with me.

Yesterday, ibrahim, kenny and i went to bras basah to complete our math project on Newton's Method (it's sorta like a branch of calculus) and before long, after we're done, the began to wonder why the name "Newton" appears in almost every context of our study.

After that chat, we headed over to suntec to cathc the computer show but it wasnt really our kinda thing so we headed over to Marina Square, and that was where i got my really neat and new, cool toy - a AH-64D Longbow Apache model kit.

And the box...

I know you guys might be asking, "Shouldn't Apaches be like green in colour?! WHY IS IT BLACK?!" Well, there can only be 2 explanations. One, it's black cause it's a camera trick and two, i painted it black. Go guess!

So there ya go! A puzzle for today! Solve it and tell me the answer and you MIGHT just win yourself a million bucks. Literally.

The Name's Newton

The name's called Newton. Issac Newton. He was born on the 14th January 1643, and thus it makes him 364 years old this year. He currently resides in Kensington, London, Englang, where, well, that was where he was last seen.

His alma mater was the Trinity College, and he will thoroughly be grateful for all the lessons learnt as he will embark on his journey to be one of the greatest minds that the world has ever seen. Also, he was the "half-creator" of Calculus and many other nonsensical formulas, derivations and not forgetting laws.

In his free time, he has interest physics, mathematics, astronomy, alchemy, and philosophy. Not forgetting, he has invented so many things that have really proved to be useful in our everyday lives. He is also very well known for Newtonian Mechanics, Universal gravitation, Calculus and Optics.
