Right. So i just quarrelled with my mum again. What happened? Here's the story:

She came home just a while ago and i was sitting in the living room reading today's papers. There was this stack of clothes that i was sitting beside as well. So she told me to keep them and i casually replied "yah". Now here's when things got out of hand. She kept talking and talking and i got pretty sick of it and i stood up from the sofa when oh so coincidentally my keys dropped to the ground and i picked it up. As all of you know when you pick up keys there'll be SOUND created.

She flared up and raised her voice "always like that. slamming things and making noises when you not happy". So i shouted back, and that started the chain reaction. I'm kinda alright actually. I dont really feel much, but yeah, it's already the second last day of 2007, obviously i'll feel a sense of disappointment.

This is the first song i sang... And it's to my mummy. I was only 8 years old then. I was naive and i didnt know it was a love song. Haha...

The peach, the apple and the blackberry
The peach and the apple decided to have a contest to determine which one was more beautiful than the other. However, when tempers flared and the competition appear to be getting out of hand, a blackberry thrust his head from a nearby bush and cried out, "This dispute's gone long enough. Let's all be friends and stop this nonsence!"

Dont you think so? The loudest quarrels are often the most petty...

And this are the out takes for Chrismas 2007. Those are some shots that my i took from my friend. It isnt much but that's all i've got =) And like i promised, the pictures that depicts Christmas. n-joi.

This invalid was busking on Christmas Day at Orchard Road. Amidst the festive mood and all the sounds around, he was playing a different kind of music.

CHIJMES. A beautiful church turned al fresco dining.

And the merry go round goes round and round. Round and round the christmas tree. VivoCity

Five star hotel with a five star view. Fullerton.

Raffles Hotel

I can't remember where this was taken. Bother.

Then i saw a tree, a tall tall tree, with many little stars, ittle little stars

In the wet December of Christmas, that tall tall tree, with little little stars, by grace i walk away

It's New year's eve.
the last day of these 12 months that brought you cheer.
The last 52 weeks.
The last 365 days.

The last night of this year.
I'll count down the minutes till i hear it in my ear.

Five. Four. Three. Two. One.
My whole year is done.

Another calendar page on the floor
another calendar on the wall.

Good bye my friends. Till then, enjoy your last hours of 2007 =) It's going to be a leap year, so happy 366 days! Happy New Year as well. Be happy, buy me presents for Christmas next year.

26th December.

It's just 4 more days till we usher in the New Year. Then again, since when do we invite the years to come and go? They just come, and they just go. Nonetheless even as i progress to the next year or so, i feel that i've got alot on my mind.

For the first time, i need to worry about exams during a rainy December.

I cooked dinner today, for my mum and i, and i have to say that she kinda enjoyed it =) I made honeyed chicken patties together with croissants. Who said guys cant cook?

Hopefully, all of you have enjoyed Christmas. Although i have to admit that this Christmas was rather boring and just like any other day for many people. I kinda quarrelled with my mum at the last few moments of Christmas. So much for the birth of Jesus hmm?

Remember that time i told you guys that i was covering an article for Oops!? Well, the article has been published. Click Here

So, enjoy the article. It isn't much but that's all i can do. Of course, with a little help of editing from sulyn =) thanks alot! All the best when you're going back to uni today.

It's too early to say Happy New Year so im not going to say that. Enjoy =)

Goodnight world. You're pretty quiet in the night =)

Hmm, you know... A blog is not all about know what goes on in a person's life. It's not only about what he should blog about and stuff. I feel that a blog is a place for you to voice out your thoughts. Thoughts that nobody would actually know.

Oh i wanted to add a video clip that my friends and i made at a convention 2 years ago but i couldnt embed it cause my friend disabled to function so click on the link below to go to youtube alright?

Good stuff

Sorry about the poor quality and directing though, it was really some impromptu stuff that we though of.. At 2am in the morning.

Christmas is approaching soon! Hurray! Hopefully all of your wishes do come true! If they do not, it really means that you're not wishing hard enough.

Then again, don't you feel that christmas is about the same every year? The decorations alongside Orchard Road, the exchanging of gifts or for some of us, it means going to church and celebrating Jesus' birthday. And sometimes it may just be a long day of rest from another rare day off from work.

MERRY CHRISTMAS in 6 days time =)

Honestly, there's nothing much for me to blog about =)but then again i felt that it's good to update some stuff anyway. I know there aren't many people that's even reading this blog of mine, but i guess i should do some justice and let people look forward to something at least hmm?

Ever walked into somewhere familiar and felt that you're in a whole new world?

le jeu ne vaut pas la chandelle

in the olden days, in France, games of poker were played by candle light. the expression came about when the money exchanging hands during the game was not enough to cover the cost of the candle use to illuminate it. thus, le jeu ne vaut pas la chandelle. where the game was not worth the candle.

interesting stuff.

George Bush.

I never even thought about writing about him. Although he sucks as a president (as said by countless polls and the people of USA) i feel that this guy is rather admirable.

I read a news article about him. About how this man rose up to be the supposed most powerful president of the history of USA. About how this man coped with the struggles of September 11.

He still has 401 days in power and he's now a lame-duck president

I know i do not have the rights to say this but i do feel that he's a person a great courage and strength. When his whole world crumbled because of the mistakes he made, he still stood strong and surprisingly, he can still take the fire and heat that's being put forward.

I once heard, "to be great is to be misunderstood".

And alls well.

It's the start of the two weeks break now. Let me see, hmm, i've got plenty of stuff to do:

1. Getting my yatch license
2. Studying for my Semestral exams
3. Tutoring Hui Xian and Win for Sem Exams

That's quite alot of stuff to do already. it'll take up so much of my time, which i do not really have. Oh well, always look on the bright side of life!

merry christmas! ho ho ho...

Hello world.

Today has been kind to me. I had a good night's rest and my classmates and i had pizza hut cause Win was feel really generous and he decides to treat all of us. The meal costed $70.

Sometimes i really wonder why does he have to treat the people that treated him so badly a meal that costs so much. And the money that he spends is the money that he's worked so hard for. Then i realise... He's leaving for the USA next sem.

So anyway, here are a few pictures that i particularly like. No reason for them though =)

Through these gates, walked the best trained.

Lights, come and go. Light my life and make me flow.

15th NLLC. It was a pleasure.

The coolest picture ever.

Hmm. Have you ever wondered why most parents think very much differently from their children? I mean sometimes i'm lost for words because i really dont know how else to explain to my mother. It's like every sentence i say might seem tough on her ears. I really wish to know why... Take me back to the start.

Love never fails.

Take care ya'll

I need a tuition teacher.. for english. haha.

It's another day. Gloomy and rainy. I could have went home early today but noooo... i had to poke my nose into doing a cover for the PESA competition. I just wrote the article though. im pretty sure i'll pass (note: it's pass.) but i'm pretty sure there'll be loads of editing.

besides the word limit was 150. i over shot by 190. that's like 135% more.

I was kiasu what, you cant blame me you know? =) and today's lauch day felt like many things had screwed up. logistics were especially the screwed up one. We were supposed to start giving the goody bags at 12pm.

but hear this...

the bags came only at 12.40pm and obviously, there are MANY unhappy faces. Oh well, the guys were pretty cooperative.

i'll show you guys the article WHEN it is published. though i know most of you here will already know what i've typed about. hmmm

until the next time. Selamat tinggal.

Tomorrow is the Oops! Launch Day. We're giving out free magazines to students in SP ONLY. So those of you guys that are not in SP, that's really just too bad for you. Haha. I'm in charge of foodcourt 2 and i've to give away over 800 magazines (hey, SP has 15000 students mind you =P)

Hopefully tomorrow will be a fun day. But i doubt not, cause firstly i've got to wake up so darn early (like 6 in the morning) and im really having doubts about covering the PESA competition.

For those of you who dont already know, im part of Oops! now. It's a student's lifestyle magazine in SP - and i've been nominated to be Chief Editor.

Crap.

If you have ever read those stories that are covered by my fellow writers, my writing is nothing compared to theirs. I got stunned when i read them. They are too fierce lah.

It was a kaleidoscopic feast for the eyes as the female finalists were dolled up in colourful evening wear. The male finalists were next in their suits and had the audience in awe with their stage presence and charm. We couldn't agree more to the old saying that "Suits are made for any men to look good." In fact they were out-of-the world stunning!

This is what ONE of my fellow writers wrote... and they're many like her.

But i'll do it anyways, what's life without a little challenge?

The Name's Newton

The name's called Newton. Issac Newton. He was born on the 14th January 1643, and thus it makes him 364 years old this year. He currently resides in Kensington, London, Englang, where, well, that was where he was last seen.

His alma mater was the Trinity College, and he will thoroughly be grateful for all the lessons learnt as he will embark on his journey to be one of the greatest minds that the world has ever seen. Also, he was the "half-creator" of Calculus and many other nonsensical formulas, derivations and not forgetting laws.

In his free time, he has interest physics, mathematics, astronomy, alchemy, and philosophy. Not forgetting, he has invented so many things that have really proved to be useful in our everyday lives. He is also very well known for Newtonian Mechanics, Universal gravitation, Calculus and Optics.

This blog is Newton approved
